Guidelines
What Forwrd allows, what it blocks, and how we make money. Written in plain language, because rules you cannot read are not rules.
1.What you may shorten
Any link you have the right to share. Personal, commercial, weird, boring - we do not judge the destination as long as it is honest about what it is.
2.What gets blocked
Phishing and fake login pages, impersonation of banks, payment providers, government agencies or any brand, malware, scams, doxxing material, and sexual content involving minors. These are blocked instantly and permanently.
3.How screening works
Every destination is checked by an automated abuse shield before a link is minted. Blocks are immediate. If the shield is wrong, you can request a manual review and a human looks at it within 48 hours.
4.How we make money
Ads, and later optional paid plans. Never your data, never your links, never a profile of you. Ads are labelled and are not a recommendation from us.
5.Link neutrality
We do not sell placement inside redirects, we do not inject affiliate parameters into your links, and we do not swap a destination for a paying one. A short link points where you told it to point.
6.Reporting abuse
Send the short link to abuse@forwrd.us. Every report is read by a person within 48 hours, and confirmed abuse is disabled for good.
